The UCLA meeting today went better than I expected.
Which is not to say that my expectations were low, just that I didn’t have well-formed expectations.
I met a lot of other AB540 students, and that is in an even greater comfort than just knowing about their existence, and reading their blogs.
I saw them, and I sat next to them, and we talked!
So they are definitely real.
They were mostly UCLA students, but I also met a fellow high school senior. I’m really excited to go back to school Monday and continue my efforts to get the AB540 students in my school together.
Right now, however, I am most excited about going to sleep for a longer than a couple of hours (first time this week!).
