My latent ultra-competive streak is enjoying a comeback, thanks to a man whom I will call J.
J is my Journ100 prof, and ever since he made it a point to explain how he almost NEVER grades a perfect score paper, I have been obsessed with getting a 40/40 on one of his papers.
Ok, so it's only been a week. Second paper is due tomorrow, at 8:06 AM. I cannot change it now, bc my printer is broken. But I feel pretty good about it. If it were not too long, I would feel confident that I would get AT LEAST a 38 out 40.
For now, it'll have to do. But before this tiny summer session is over, if I still don't have a 40/40 paper, I will disown myself. No joke.
